I was on board until I read “the Planned Parenthood-driven over-sexualization of our kids”. 

Let me clarify that I also was not on board with that particular sentiment…I simply admire the fact that someone from that side of the fence can acknowledge the same problems the women’s rights movement has been speaking up about for years and hopefully make changes from within the organization and culture.  I am a proud supporter of Planned Parenthood and see nothing overly-sexual about their practices. 

Just to clarify.  :)  

Oh, I know! :) I read all the articles and such that you reblog here, and now that I’m less grouchy than I was pre-work last night I should have been more clear that I also appreciate seeing an article like this coming from that position. I fully support Planned Parenthood myself and already having been a big ol’ grump didn’t help me stomach that sentiment. (And some of the comments made me pretty ruffled, but I ought to have expected that)

So we are in fact on the same boat here :D
